Fun, but needs improvement

:
8bit whistle is a fun little app that does what it says it does, but could be engineered better.

In 8bit whistle, there are several notes of which you can play by blowing into your iPhone's mic whilst holding one of the keys down. You can record and play your own songs by going into a seperate "Options" page.

My first gripe about this app is that there is no title screen. People like something to look at before using their apps. On the title screen, there should be two options: "Tutorial" and "Play Now!". The tutorial option is covered in the next paragraph. The scenery for the title screen should stick with the current theme, a Mario style pixelated look. I'm sure you could come up with something good for what the title should look like. ;)

Second gripe: No tutorial. It took me several minutes to figure out how to play the whistle. You should make a tutorial that will be a series of screenshots with text and arrows telling you how to do everything from playing to recording and saving your own tracks.

Gripe number three is that the app does not suppot multiple touches at the same time. If I hold two notes at the same time whilst blowing, I should get a combination of those two notes coming out of my speaker.

#4: Doesn't warn the user about no iPod touch support. There should be a clear warning on the app's description stating that you will need an external mic for the iPod touch to use this app.

5th: Higher sensitivity. You currently have to blow pretty hard to make a note, I would make a higher sensitivity or even better, make a setting so you can control the sensitivity level.

Gripe number seven: An auto blow toggle. This button would be at the top of the screen and, when pressed, would alternate between playing by blowing and touching, or playing by just holding the note, and the app would blow for you. This would not only make it easier to play, but also allow fellow iPod touch users to enjoy this app. :)

There are other problems, but I can't seem to think of them at the moment... >.<
